CAN THE TRUTHS WE BELIEVE OF LIFE BE ALL LIES?
Is it Possible that Nothing is TRUE?
I am experiencing a time when lies are abundant regarding my childhood. The simplicity and joy of yesterday are no longer available. With technology and sudden gratification, it is too much to comprehend to know what is happening worldwide.
Here is an example: when you go out to a restaurant, look around at all the children on their iPhones or iPads.
How many parents are at a table on a cell phone as well?
How has this type of life been born — being plugged in from the moment we awaken until we sleep? Information is handy, and we can look up anything we want. But my question is, why are the children plugged in, too? I raised my children without this technology, and I wonder if I would have placed a technology device in their hands at a young age.
Here is an alternative: Take one day over the weekend to unplug — no cell, computer, or tablet for you and your children. Set this example and return to the basics of yesterday.
Can you imagine unplugging by 8 pm every night until the morning after you have been up for at least one to two hours?
